Adanma Yisa (she/her)

I feel deeply fortunate to have found my place in this global transformation we urgently need. My work is driven by a strong belief that organizations, especially those with justice-driven missions hold the power to create positive, lasting change. By strengthening their cultures and thoughtfully implementing impactful strategies, we can build healthier, more inclusive environments. Transformation can only take root where there is care and intentionality, and that is the foundation of what I do.

Central to my approach is a commitment to courageous, strategic decision-making and creating cultural shifts that are grounded in feminist and decolonial principles. I partner with organizations and communities across diverse fields, including health systems, climate justice, degrowth, local resilience, and systems change.

I hold a Master’s degree in Critical Diversity Studies and an Honours degree in Development Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Law with Politics degree from Manchester University. I continue to deepen my practice through strategy facilitation training (Workshopper Master and Mesa sprint facilitation) and am proud to be a certified Thinking Environment Coach.

In addition to my consulting work, I’m also the co-founder of The Decoloniality Network. This initiative is all about shared learning, mutual support, and inspiring those who practice decoloniality in development, non-profit sectors, civil society, and philanthropy. I recently launched a newsletter, Rewoven, where I explore frameworks and best practices for organsational culture and strategy for mission driven organisations.
